David and Ramon decided to combine their efforts and formed AERO 3D in January of 2005. The premise for AERO is to provide full design and prototype services, with production capabilities. We have the tools, experience and ability to design and produce functioning prototypes, even when the ideas are hand sketched on a napkin. Through our years of machining experience we have seen many products just badly designed, drawings from engineers that probably have never even seen a machine shop. The lack of machining experience translates in poor part design that makes products more expensive than they need to be. Part of our service to our customers is to fully understand what their goal is for their design. If they plan to mass produce, then we consider what manufacturing options they may have and design the prototype accordingly. There are many model building service companies available to you, but we can confidently say that few will have the in house capabilities or experience that we at AERO provide and we are just as competitive if not more.
